We develop tax-efficient transaction structures and counsel clients in all stages of private equity mergers and acquisitions. We advise clients regularly in connection with corporate finance transactions involving senior debt, mezzanine and other subordinated debt, preferred stock and other types of securities. We also represent institutional investors in making private fund investments.
As with all of Bartlit Beck’s transactional representations, we align our incentives with our fund clients and their portfolio companies through our compensation structure. We prefer to bill on the basis of fixed fees tied to the outcome of the transaction, not the hourly rate.
