Nicor Gas Co. v. Landmark Contractors, Inc. (Circuit Court, Kane County, Illinois 2009)
Lead trial counsel representing public utility company (Nicor Gas) seeking to recover for damage caused to its underground gas line.  First chaired two-day jury trial.  Jury found for Nicor, awarding it damages.

Errico v. Stryker Corporation (Southern District of New York)
Represent Stryker Corporation in breach of contract action regarding Stryker’s acquisition of medical device company. 

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation v. United States (Federal Court of Claims)
Represent Sikorsky in $80 million accounting dispute with the federal government.

In re Bayer Corp. Combination Aspirin Products Marketing and Sales Practices Litigation (MDL, Eastern District of New York)
Represent Bayer in numerous proposed class actions brought by consumers who purchased aspirin combination products.  MDL pending in Eastern District of New York. 

Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. v. Bayer Corporation (Northern District of California)
Represented Bayer in breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty action relating to Bayer's development of new anti-cancer treatments.  Onyx alleged it had rights in Bayer's new regorafenib compound under development and that Bayer had improperly blocked and obstructed development of the existing anti-cancer treatment, Nexavar.  Case settled favorably for Bayer during trial.

Perrine v. DuPont (Circuit Court, Harrison County, West Virginia)
Represented DuPont in toxic tort claims brought by class of West Virginia residents in an appeal to the West Virginia Supreme Court, which ordered a re-trial on statute of limitations defense and substantially reduced potential damages.  Case settled favorably.

CityScope v. LaSalle Bank (Circuit Court, Cook County, Illinois)
Represented CityScope in Cook County, Illinois Court.  Action based on promissory estoppel, breach of fiduciary duty, and violation of the Consumer Fraud and Protection Act, stemming from LaSalle's conduct concerning CityScope's desire to seek a loan to finance the making of a movie.
