  • Giddens Industries, Inc., a Washington based manufacturer of complex machined and precision sheet metal parts and component subassemblies for the aerospace industry;
  • Global X-Ray & Testing Corporation, a Louisiana based provider of nondestructive testing and inspection services to the oil and gas industry;
  • Hetsco, Inc., an Indiana based provider of repair and maintenance services for brazed aluminum plate-fin heat exchangers used in industrial gas, liquified natural gas and chemical facilities;
  • Precision Machine Works, Inc., a Washington based provider of machining and assembly services to the aerospace industry;
  • Tell Tool, Inc., a Massachusetts based manufacturer of machined aerospace components; and
  • a minority interest in Intrepid Mining LLC, the largest producer of potash in the United States.

  • Sierra Alloys Company, a California based provider of specialty forged titanium and high-performance steel products primarily to the aerospace and defense industries; and
  • TechSpec, Inc., a Pennsylvania based provider of specialty rolled and forged titanium products to the commercial aerospace, defense, medical, energy and industrial sectors.

Acquisitions by PRV Aerospace, LLC of:

  • Arden Engineering, Inc., a California based manufacturer of large, complex, precision-machined components and assemblies for the commercial and military aerospace industries; and
  • Quality Forming, LLC, a California based manufacturer of large and complex, high-value precision sheet metal components and assemblies for the aerospace industry.

Intrepid Potash, Inc., initial public offering ($1.1 billion), counsel to twenty-percent stockholder, Platte River Ventures I, L.P.

Successful defense of Federal Signal Corporation against proxy contest initiated by Warren B. Kanders. 

Acquisition by Federal Signal Corporation of VESystems, LLC, a provider of electronic toll collection systems and services.

Sale by Federal Signal Corporation of the assets of Pauluhn Electric to Cooper Industries.

Sale of Aquilex Corporation (a First Reserve Corporation portofolio company) to Harvest Partners, LLC.
