On March 6, 2002, the Department of Justice Canada filed a Petition for Writ of Certiorari in the U.S. Supreme Court, asking the Court to review the 2-1 decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, which upheld the dismissal of Canada's RICO complaint against R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and related entities.
On April 19, 2002 the Reply Brief was filed.
