National counsel for Walgreens in nationwide litigation relating to the distribution and sale of prescription opioid medications, including over 2,500 cases brought by states, cities, counties, tribes, and private parties.
In re Domestic Drywall Antitrust Litigation MDL (U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania)
Counsel for the leading U.S. drywall manufacturer against Sherman Act and state law price fixing claims brought by twelve of the nation's largest homebuilders. Secured summary judgment on liability in favor of clients United States Gypsum Company and USG Corp. This decision came after the Court denied summary judgment to multiple co-defendants.
E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Co. v. Unifrax (U.S. District Court, Delaware and U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit)
Trial counsel to DuPont in successful patent infringement trial relating to Unifrax's infringement of DuPont's patent covering thermal acoustic blankets for use in commercial aircraft, which was affirmed on appeal.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation v. United States (Court of Federal Claims)
Represented Sikorsky against Department of Justice in government contract suit alleging an "alternative claim" to government's previous claim against Sikorsky regarding Sikorsky's accounting practices for material overhead costs. Court granted Sikorsky's motion for judgment on the pleadings, entered judgment for Sikorsky, and rejected the government's claim in its entirety.
