Adam Mortara Argues As Special Amicus Curiae At En Banc Sitting Of Eleventh Circuit


Bartlit Beck partner Adam Mortara argued at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit today in the en banc case, Wilson v. Warden.  The Court appointed Mortara as a special amicus curiae to assist the Court in deciding the en banc question presented, which involves the proper interpretation the primary federal statute governing habeas corpus petitions by state prisoners.  He has taught federal habeas corpus and federal courts at the University of Chicago Law School since 2007.
