Jordan Golds joined the firm in November 2021 following clerkships with Judge Robert D. Sack, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Jordan earned his B.A. from The University of Chicago and his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. He was also recognized as a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar, a distinction awarded to students with grades in the top 10% of the class, and received the Joseph Henry Beale Prize as well as the Dean's Award in two courses. Prior to law school, Jordan worked at Goldman Sachs and the hedge fund D.E. Shaw.

Representative Matters

Opioids Litigation
Member of the trial team in Florida Health Sciences Center, et al. v. CVS, et al. (Broward County Circuit Court, 2025), a 50-day trial in which 26 Florida hospitals sought more than $1.5 billion in damages before trebling. Cross-examined expert and fact witnesses and conducted the direct examination for Walgreens’ statistician expert. After 14 days of jury deliberations, the court declared a mistrial. Following the mistrial, the court granted defendants’ renewed motion for directed verdict and entered final judgment in favor of the defendants.

National counsel for Walgreens in litigation relating to the distribution and sale of prescription opioids, including over 2,500 cases brought by states, cities, counties, tribes, and private parties seeking recovery in connection with the opioid abuse crisis
